🗓️ Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival & Addis Ababa City Tour
  Visit Mount Entoto, National Museum (Lucy fossil), Holy Trinity Church, Ethnographic Museum, and Merkato market. Overnight in Addis Ababa.
• Day 2: Bahir Dar
  Boat cruise on Lake Tana to Ura Kidane Mihret monastery. Afternoon visit to Blue Nile Falls. Overnight at Jacaranda Hotel.
• Day 3: Bahir Dar - Gondar
  Drive to Gondar. Visit castles, Debre Birhan Selassie Church, and Qusquam Church. Overnight at Goha Hotel Gondar.
• Day 4: Gondar - Sanqaber
  Excursion to Sanqaber in Simien Mountains, known as the ?roof of Africa.? Overnight at Semien Park Hotel.
• Day 5: Gondar - Axum
  Drive via Lima Limo and Tekeze Gorge to Axum. Overnight at Sabean Hotel Axum.
• Day 6: Axum Sightseeing
  Explore St. Mary?s Church, Ark of the Covenant sanctuary, Stele Park, Tomb of Kaleb, Ezana?s inscriptions, Queen of Sheba?s palace ruins, and Axum Museum. Overnight at Sabean Hotel Axum.
• Day 7: Axum - Hawzen
  Drive to Hawzen via Yeha Temple and Geralta churches. Overnight homestay in Hawzen.
• Day 8: Hawzen - Mekele
  Climb Abune Yemata Guh Church. Visit Wukero Cherko and Abreha wa Atsbeha churches en route to Mekele. Overnight at Genfel Hotel Mekele.
• Day 9: Mekele - Dodom - Erta Ale
  Drive to Dodom and trek to Erta Ale volcano. Overnight camping at the lava lake summit.
• Day 10: Erta Ale - Hamedela
  Descend from Erta Ale and drive to Hamedela village. Overnight camping.
• Day 11: Hamedela - Dallol - Mekele
  Visit Ragad salt mines, Dallol geothermal formations, Lake Assal, and camel caravans. Return to Mekele. Overnight at Genfel Hotel Mekele.
• Day 12: Mekele - Lalibela
  Drive to Lalibela via Sokoto, enjoying scenic landscapes. Overnight at Cliff Edge Hotel Lalibela.
• Day 13: Lalibela Sightseeing
  Visit Lalibela?s famous rock-hewn churches including Bete Medhane Alem and Bete Giyorgis. Overnight at Cliff Edge Hotel Lalibela.
• Day 14: Excursion to Yimrehane Kristos
  Visit Yimrehane Kristos Church, a masterpiece of Axumite architecture. Afternoon visit to remaining Lalibela churches. Overnight homestay in Lalibela.
• Day 15: Lalibela - Addis Ababa - Departure
  Fly back to Addis Ababa. Evening folkloric dinner with national dishes, ethnic dances, and coffee ceremony. Transfer to airport for departure.
