Day 1: Drive Addis Ababa to Hawassa
Welcome to Ethiopia! You will meet our staff at the hotel or airport, then drive south from Addis Ababa to Hawassa. On the way, visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park, covering 887 square kilometers with alkaline lakes, acacia woodlands, and savannas. Wildlife includes Grant's gazelles, warthogs, ostriches, and over 300 bird species. Overnight stay in Hawassa.
Day 2: Hawassa to Addis Ababa and Departure
After breakfast, visit the local Fish Market, enjoy a boat trip to watch hippopotamus, and birdwatch at Amora Gedele. Later, drive back to Addis Ababa and visit the Ethnological Museum, located in the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie, housing anthropological, musicological, and cultural objects.
