Fly to Semera and drive to Lake Afdera. Visit hot springs and enjoy optional swimming. Continue to Dodom at the base of Erta Ale. Trek to the volcano rim and spend the night watching the dramatic lava lake.
Day 2: Erta Ale - HamadEla - Dallol
Drive to HamadEla. Witness camel caravans and salt mining at Ragad. Visit Lake Assale and explore Dallol?s colorful volcanic landscapes. Overnight camping.
Day 3: HamadEla - Semera - Addis Ababa - Departure
Enjoy sunrise at Lake Assale. Drive back to Semera and fly to Addis Ababa for departure.
