Day 1 Jinka - Keyafer - Turmi
Starting the trip from Jinka and drive Keyafer via Turmi. On the way we stop to visit different villages of Benna and Hamare. Keyafar market is the best colorful market in Omo Valley. After visiting the market and Bena village we drive to Turmi to visit the Hamar people, who are the beautiful tribe in Omo Valley. The Hamar tribe are principally pastoralist, breeding cattle, goat and sheep. They use clay to shape their hairstyles and practice the unique bull-jumping ritual every young man must accomplish prior to marriage. Final destination of the day is Turmi. Overnight: Turmi
Day 2 Turmi - Karo - Nyangatom - Turmi - Jinka
In the morning after breakfast we drive to the Karo tribe who live along the Omo River. They are closely related to the Hamar tribe but have their own culture and language. Famous for body painting and fishing. • Visit Kara tribe village and learn about their traditions. • Drive to Nyangatom tribe village. The young girls are given beaded necklaces by their fathers, and receive more when married. • Drive back to Turmi for lunch. • Continue driving to Jinka. Overnight: Jinka
Day 3 Jinka - Mursi - Jinka
In the morning after breakfast drive to the Mursi village through Mago National Park. The Mursi women wear circular clay plates on their lower lip and ear lobes. The men are known for stick fighting. After visiting the Mursi village we drive back to Jinka. Fly back to Addis for overnight or departure.
